My dad is an entrepreneur. My husband is an entrepreneur. I’m an entrepreneur.
Down to my bones I know the demands and pressures that true visionaries, leaders, and people doing big things in the world face.
Why The Honest Edge?
A master crafts-person uses many tools to build a masterpiece. In order to make sure the finished pieces are even, these artists need to straighten and adjust them. These tools are known as being “true” or “honest” in their alignment, and from them, everything else connects and builds. It’s the key to a strong structure.
Sometimes, the most difficult step in improving your life is finding someone who will give you honest advice, with specific steps to regaining your edge. It’s the beginning of your legacy.

Shawna is the founder of The Honest Edge, where she works as thought-partner and truth-teller to high-performing visionaries and teams committed to high-vibe leadership. She’s spoken about conquering fear at Northwestern University, co-created the Dash Conference for women leaders, and sits on the Northern Illinois University Counseling Advisory Board.
Shawna has a Master’s degree in counseling, is licensed as a clinical professional counselor, and is trained in EMDR and transformational coaching for executives.
